Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Mover/Driver to join our team. This role involves transporting and handling goods efficiently and safely while providing excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will have experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving, and possess strong communication skills. Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods between locations
- Load and unload items using appropriate techniques, including heavy lifting when necessary
- Utilize equipment such as forklifts to move large or heavy items securely
- Ensure all cargo is secured properly during transit to prevent damage or accidents
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating clearly with clients and addressing their needs professionally
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the vehicle and work area
- Follow all safety protocols and traffic regulations during transportation
- Assist with warehouse tasks such as inventory management and stock organization as needed
Requirements
- Proven experience in moving, warehouse operations, or commercial driving preferred
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Ability to operate forklifts (certification preferred but not required)
- Strong physical stamina with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with customers and team members
- Reliable, punctual, and committed to safety standards
- Prior experience in customer service is a plus
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
