Job Overview: We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Landscaper to join our team. This position focuses on year-round property maintenance services for residential and commercial properties throughout Orléans, including lawn care, landscaping, seasonal clean-ups, and winter snow removal. The ideal candidate enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in maintaining clean and attractive properties, is dependable, and is comfortable operating landscaping equipment and tools in various weather conditions.
Key Responsibilities includes, but are not limited too:
- Perform lawn mowing, trimming, edging, weeding, pruning, and general landscaping services.
- Maintain flower beds, shrubs, trees, gardens, and outdoor common areas.
- Complete seasonal property clean-ups, including spring and fall maintenance.
- Install and maintain mulch, soil, plants, and decorative landscaping features as required.
- Operate and maintain landscaping equipment such as lawn mowers, trimmers, blowers, hedge trimmers, and other grounds maintenance tools.
- Perform routine property inspections and identify maintenance or safety concerns.
- Ensure properties remain clean, safe, and presentable at all times.
- Respond to requests and work orders in a timely and professional manner.
- Assist with snow and ice management during the winter months, including snow blowing, shoveling, salting, and sanding.
- Follow all company safety procedures and policies.
- Maintain tools, equipment, trailers, and work vehicles in clean and good working condition.
- Ad-Hoc Projects
Qualifications:
- Previous landscaping, groundskeeping, property maintenance, or snow removal experience is considered an asset.
- Experience operating landscaping and lawn care equipment.
- Ability to safely operate hand tools, power tools, and outdoor equipment.
- Strong work ethic with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Physically capable of performing demanding outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly.
- Valid Class G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Experience towing and maneuvering trailers is considered an asset.
