About the Role HFX Airport Hotel is seeking a Front Desk & Guest Experience Associate to become part of our growing team.
We are a fast-paced airport hotel where no two shifts are the same. In this role, you will be the face of our hotel, welcoming guests, managing arrivals and departures, and ensuring smooth daily operations at the front desk.
Your Responsibilities
- Welcome and assist guests during check-in and check-out.
- Respond to guest inquiries related to hotel amenities, parking, and shuttle service.
- Process reservations, modifications, and payments using our property management system.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and guest chat communications professionally.
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk environment.
- Coordinate shuttle requests and other guest needs as they arise.
What We Are Looking For
- A warm, guest-focused personality with strong interpersonal skills.
- Clear and confident communicator, both written and verbal.
- Ability to stay calm and efficient in a high-volume environment.
- Open availability including evenings, weekends, and statutory holidays.
- Prior experience in hospitality or guest-facing roles is an asset but not required.
- A team player who is eager to learn and contribute.
Schedule
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Rotating shifts: days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
