THE TEN SPOT® exists to make everyone feel like a ten, so they can live their best life ever! we’re an international network of beauty bars that provides impeccably executed services in a #clinicallyclean environment. because of this, we’re looking for a talented esthetics expert at our bedford, ns location who will provide an exceptional esthetics experience for each of our guests while upholding our strong team values and standard of excellence.
what you’ll do:
- provide outstanding esthetics services according to guest needs; once you take on a guest, they are yours to impress. you’ll do this by owning your role; from manicures, pedicures, shellac/gel, & BIAB applications. you’ll first do hand/ foot and nail assessments and work with guests to find out about their sensitivities. because you’re always up to date on trends, guests will rely on you to help them choose a color and design and also educate them on proper nail care according to their style. you’ll work with clients to cut and shape nails, do cuticle work, callus removal and massage in addition to polish application. you'll also do our famous brazillians, waxing, laser hair removal and a variety of different skin and facial treatments, connecting with your clients to make sure they’re comfortable and informed about the services they’ll be receiving.
- amaze and retain our guests; as part of your expert esthetics service, you’ll also create a lively atmosphere to leave guests feeling like a ten. building a strong relationship with our guests means facilitating great conversations, knowing who wants you to be quiet and who wants to chat. you’re always happy to share your expert knowledge when you come in for every shift with a positive, upbeat attitude. this building of relationships is important to continuously have regulars in your books.
- contribute to our #clinicallyclean standards and team success; at THE TEN SPOT®, we are in it together. we take cleanliness extremely seriously and so do you. you are happy to be constantly cleaning your station (and others), disinfecting surfaces and pitching in wherever it’s needed. you take pride and care in not just your guests’ experience, but happily help out whenever you see something that needs to be done.
- proactively make sales through education and relationships; because you’re a pro at building trust with guests, they appreciate when you recommend products that they can benefit from. in order to do this, you’ll understand each product, how they work and their pricing. as a metric of success, not only will you identify opportunities to upsell products and services without being pushy, but you’ll plant seeds for rebooking future appointments.

- you’re nailing it: you love staying on top of nail trends and your creativity and passion for your trade allows you to come up with great ideas and inspiration for your guests. at this point in your career, you’re a pro at providing professional service and past colleagues can vouch for your skills.
