We are seeking an Accounts Payable Coordinator to join our dynamic team at our Headquarters Office in Kitchener.

Responsibilities:
· Enters invoices after all necessary approvals are obtained and resolve invoice discrepancies.
· Handles problems that arise from vendors pertaining to their accounts and processes any necessary paperwork (debit and credit memos), in collaboration with purchasing or mangers as necessary
· Perform weekly payment runs which include paper cheques and electronic payments; process urgent payments as required
· Communication with vendors and buyers/purchasing/approval managers on regular basis
· Files invoices and computer printouts.
· Reviews vendor account statements for discrepancies and corrects in a timely manner
· Performs all responsibilities/services in accordance with the company Quality Assurance Procedures.
Requirements:
· Grade 12 diploma or equivalent experience.
· Accounting courses (basic bookkeeping) would be beneficial.
· 1-3 years of experience in accounts payable is preferred with experience in manufacturing environment that requires matching of invoices to purchase orders.
