Responsibilities
- Assist residents and clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Administer medications accurately following established protocols and document all medication-related activities
- Support clients with meal preparation and ensure nutritional needs are met in a timely manner
- Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being and reduce feelings of isolation
- Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks and adhering to infection control standards
- Assist with mobility and transfer techniques to ensure safety during movement or repositioning
- Support individuals with disabilities or dementia by implementing personalized care plans and engaging them in appropriate activities
Requirements
- Prior experience working in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care settings is highly preferred
- Demonstrated experience caring for seniors or individuals with special needs, including dementia care and disability support
- Knowledge of medication administration procedures and safety protocols
- Strong caregiving skills combined with compassion, patience, and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to perform cleaning duties, meal preparation, and basic household tasks efficiently
- Certification as a Health Care Aide or equivalent is preferred; relevant training will be considered an asset
- Flexibility to work various shifts including days, evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed

Pay: $22.00-$25.00 per hour
