Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Server/Cashier to join our team. This role involves providing excellent guest service, accurately handling transactions, and supporting the overall dining experience. Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and take their orders accurately using POS systems
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of hospitality
- Handle cashier duties including processing payments with cash, credit, or digital methods while packaging uber orders
- Answering phone calls
- Busing/Serving your tables
- Hosting
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of work areas in compliance with food safety standards
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service
- Ensure guest satisfaction by providing attentive and friendly service throughout their visit
- Follow all food handling and sanitation protocols to ensure safety and quality
Skills
- Experience with POS systems
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
- Knowledge of food safety, sanitation, and proper food handling procedures
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Basic math skills for cash handling and transaction accuracy
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is advantageous
- Effective communication skills to interact with guests and team members
- Hospitality mindset with a proactive approach to upselling and guest engagement
