We are seeking a reliable and versatile Property Maintenance Worker to assist with the upkeep of our residential properties located near the Dixie Outlet Mall in Mississauga. This role offers highly flexible hours, making it an excellent opportunity for someone seeking supplemental income, flexible scheduling, or a self-directed work environment.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- General Repairs: Perform minor drywall patching, painting, and touch-ups between tenant occupancy.
- Preventative Maintenance: Address basic plumbing issues (e.g., leaky faucets, unclogging drains) and light electrical tasks (e.g., replacing faceplates or light fixtures).
- Property Upkeep: Ensure common areas and vacant units are kept clean and presentable.
- Seasonal Groundskeeping: Manage summer lawn care (cutting grass, trimming) and winter snow removal for walkways and entrances.
What We Are Looking For:
- Previous hands-on experience in property maintenance, handyman work, or construction trades.
- Familiarity with safely operating basic power tools, lawn equipment, and snow removal gear.
- A proactive problem-solver who can work independently with minimal direct supervision.
- Local to the Cambridge area required for quick access to the properties.
