Summary of Work Performed
The primary purpose of this position is to support the General Manager in leading all Front of House operations while ensuring an exceptional Guest experience. The Front of House Supervisor is responsible for maintaining high standards of hospitality, team performance, cleanliness, food and beverage service, and operational execution in accordance with MR MIKES SteakhouseCasual standards.
The FOH Supervisor will provide leadership and coaching to the Front of House team while promoting a positive, professional, and guest-focused environment. This role plays a key part in driving Guest satisfaction, team development, and overall restaurant success.
General Responsibilities

- Follow, adhere to, and implement MR MIKES guidelines, standards, policies, and procedures
- Ensures all customer concerns and complaints are handled promptly, professionally, and in a manner that encourages Guest return visits
- Assists with hiring, onboarding, training, coaching, and development of new and existing team members
- Supports and promotes a positive, respectful, and productive work environment for all MR MIKES Team Members
- Maintains full knowledge of all MR MIKES menus, beverages, promotions, offerings, and service standards
- Provides leadership and direction to Front of House Team Members during service periods
- Assists in maintaining proper staffing levels, floor plans, and shift execution to ensure operational efficiency and Guest satisfaction
- Ensures all opening, closing, and side duties are completed according to company standards
- Monitors cleanliness, organization, and sanitation of all Front of House areas
- Assists in achieving restaurant sales goals through Guest engagement, upselling, and service excellence
- Maintains awareness of foodservice industry trends, concepts, and ideas that may positively impact MR MIKES SteakhouseCasual
- Reports maintenance issues, equipment concerns, safety hazards, and operational challenges to restaurant leadership
- Supports the implementation of marketing initiatives, promotions, and operational programs
- Assists in monitoring labour and operational efficiencies during shifts
- Uses and understands Squirrel POS systems and other restaurant operational systems as required
- Adheres to all food safety, occupational health and safety, and liquor service regulations and standards
- Maintains a professional appearance consistent with MR MIKES Dress Code standards at all times
- Communicates effectively with Guests, Team Members, and Restaurant Leadership
- Reports to work as scheduled, in proper uniform, and ready to lead by example
- Works as part of a TEAM by assisting other Team Members in performing the duties of their positions when required
- Attends Team Member meetings and contributes ideas and suggestions for improvement
- Maintains a safe, clean, sanitized, and organized work environment
- Performs additional responsibilities as assigned by the General Manager or Restaurant Leadership Team
Requirements
- Minimum legal working age in accordance with Provincial regulations
- Previous restaurant leadership or supervisory experience preferred
- Strong commitment to Guest service and hospitality excellence
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Maintains current Provincially regulated Food Safety certification where required
- Serving It Right, ProServe, Smart Serve, or other Provincial liquor certification may be required
- Must be able to work flexible shifts and schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Must be able to work in a fast-paced restaurant environment
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Must be able to bend, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs
- Must be able to communicate clearly with managers/leaders, Team Members, and Guests
- Must be able to work independently and make sound decisions under pressure
- Must be able to follow direction and ask clarifying questions when necessary
- Excellent people skills with an outgoing and professional personality
- Strong conflict resolution and problem-solving abilities
- May require a Criminal Record Check
Pay: $16.43-$24.17 per hour
