Heavy Equipment Detailer / Shop Hand
A growing heavy equipment and truck sales company is seeking a motivated and reliable Heavy Equipment Detailer / Shop Hand to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working with equipment, takes pride in their work, and wants to grow with an expanding Alberta-based company.
Position Details
- Full-time position (approximately 30 hours per week to start)
- Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
- Outdoor work required throughout the year
- Training provided for the right candidate
- Opportunity for increased hours and advancement as the company continues to grow
Responsibilities
- Clean, wash, and detail heavy trucks, construction equipment, and agricultural equipment
- Maintain the appearance and organization of the equipment sales lot
- Assist with equipment staging, movement, and general yard operations
- Perform basic equipment checks and cold-weather startup procedures
- Support the team with general yard, shop, and maintenance duties
- Assist with loading, unloading, and preparing equipment for sale and delivery
Qualifications
- Valid Alberta Class 5 Driver's License
- Clean driving record (driver's abstract may be requested)
- Reliable transportation
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding work
- Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship
- Dependable, punctual, and self-motivated
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn
