Job description
Target Land Surveying (NW) Ltd. is looking for a Land Surveying Assistant to join our team. Located in Coquitlam, Target Land Surveying provides legal, construction, and topographic surveying services throughout the Lower Mainland.
Responsibilities :
- Work in a two-person field crew, performing various types of land surveys such as topographic as-built surveys, legal property line surveys, and construction layout surveys
- Aid field crew chief in taking measurements with Total Station and GPS equipment
- Set stakes, survey posts, survey hubs in the ground during a surveying project
- Help carry survey equipment in and around job sites
- Record notes and simple sketches related to the job
- Stock vehicle with supplies and equipment needed for the day
Qualifications
- Physically fit and adept to working outdoors in all weather conditions and construction site settings
- Ability to communicate and work as part of a team
- Experience in surveying/geomatics is preferred but not necessary for the right individual
- Drivers License with a clean driving record
- In person work throughout the Lower Mainland
