Customer Service Representative / Inside Sales Representative
Pay Rate: $22/hour
We are seeking a customer-focused Customer Service Representative / Inside Sales Representative to support customer relationships, process orders, and assist with sales growth. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with customers, managing details, and providing solutions in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Process customer orders, including custom orders, ensuring accuracy in pricing and specifications
- Prepare quotes, follow up with customers, and support sales opportunities
- Coordinate shipments and ensure timely order fulfillment
- Provide exceptional customer service and after-sales support
- Respond to customer inquiries by phone and email while resolving issues promptly
- Conduct outbound sales calls and identify opportunities to grow existing accounts
- Support customer retention by building strong relationships and understanding customer needs
- Process invoices, receiving reports, and transactions using internal systems
- Maintain customer pricing information and account records
- Submit purchase requisitions and support branch administrative activities
- Provide additional customer and administrative support as required
Qualifications
- Previous experience in customer service, inside sales, order processing, or account management
- Experience within the building supply industry or a related environment is an asset
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Excellent organizational skills with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently while contributing positively as part of a team
- Strong computer skills; experience with JDE 9.0 is an asset
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt
