Stride Physiotherapy & Sports Rehabilitation is looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant to join our team.
We are looking for a Physiotherapy Assistant who is energetic, organized, and flexible to work with our patients and is willing to learn how to work with all modalities.
This position requires a background in physiotherapy or rehabilitation, or completion of a Physiotherapy Assistant program. The candidate must be capable of treating patients with various physical conditions under the supervision of a Registered Physiotherapist.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Physiotherapist with treatment of patients.
- Perform physical therapy treatments including stretching, modalities, exercises, heating/icing, etc.
- Billing and accepting payment for services.
- Assist with scheduling of appointments.
- Answering routine inquiries via telephone and email
- And other general cleaning duties including: vacuuming, garbage and recycling etc.
Skills
- Excellent knowledge of anatomy, physiology and kinesiology is preferred
- Outstanding communication skills in person and via email or phone call.
- Strong interpersonal skills and friendly demeanor.
- Excellent organizational skills.
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Pay: From $17.60 per hour
