Job Summary
We are seeking a knowledgeable and customer-focused Parts Advisor to join our automotive dealership team. The ideal candidate will manage parts inventory, assist customers with their parts needs, and support the service and sales departments. This role requires excellent communication skills, organizational abilities, and a strong understanding of automotive parts and repair processes. Bilingual abilities and dealership experience are highly valued to enhance customer service and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers in identifying and selecting the correct automotive parts through in-person interactions, phone calls, or online inquiries.
- Process sales transactions accurately, while maintaining excellent phone etiquette.
- Collaborate with service technicians and sales staff to fulfill parts orders promptly and efficiently.
- Maintain organized storage of parts, ensure proper labeling, and conduct regular inventory audits.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Previous dealership experience or retail sales background an asset.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, including phone etiquette.
- Multilingual or bilingual skills are a plus for serving diverse customer bases.
- Knowledge of automotive repair processes is advantageous.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism.
