Group NB, a leading recruitment agency in the Transportation, Logistics, and Supply Chain industries, has operated across Canada since 2007. We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift/Warehouse Associate to join a warehouse team in Ottawa, ON.
Conditions:
Salary: $22.00-24.00 an hour
Shift Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:30am to 4:30pm
Requirements:
- Operate powered industrial trucks (such as sit-down, stand-up forklifts, pallet jacks, or reach trucks) to move, stack, load, and unload products.
- Safely transport goods to designated warehouse areas (receiving, shipping, or storage).
- Handle full pallets, cases, or loose items as required.
- Accurately pick, stage, and load products based on customer orders.
- Ensure all items are labeled correctly and match the order manifest.
- Wrap and secure pallets for transport.
- Operate forklifts and other warehouse machinery with care and efficiency.
- Maintain cleanliness of the equipment and workspace.
- Perform light maintenance or report service needs.
Qualifications:
- Valid forklift certification required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively
- Experience in high-volume warehouse/distribution environments
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
