Staff Plus is currently hiring a Machine Operator - Coin Press / Riveter for a manufacturing environment. This role involves operating a riveter machine, loading cores, adding friction pads, cycling the machine, and packaging finished products.
Candidates must be comfortable working in a dirty and dusty environment and standing for the full shift.

Pay Rate: $19.50 per hour
Hours: 6am to 4:30pm (Monday to Thursday)
What You'll Do:
- Operate a riveter machine safely and efficiently
- Load cores onto the machine
- Add friction pads to the core and cycle the machine
- Package finished products according to standards
- Lift up to 30 lbs from the floor as required
- Stand and turn at the waist for most of the shift
- Use hand tools as required
- Stand for the full 10-hour shift
- Follow all safety, quality, and production procedures
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Minimum 2 years of previous manufacturing experience required
- Must be comfortable working in a dirty and dusty environment
- Must be comfortable lifting up to 55 lbs independently
- Previous experience with mechanical press, welding, rivet machines, and/or transit equipment operation is preferred
- Must be comfortable standing for 10-hour shifts
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada and able to work full-time hours as required by the position
