Mandarin Language Training (Contractor)
The Calgary Chinese Elderly Citizens' Association (CCECA) is seeking a qualified contractor to develop and deliver a customized Mandarin Language Proficiency Program for frontline workers.
This project aims to strengthen workers' confidence and effectiveness when communicating with Mandarin-speaking seniors, particularly in service delivery, information sharing, program registration, and professional interactions. The training program will focus on practical workplace communication and CCECA-specific service scenarios
Responsibilities
The successful contractor will:
- Develop customized Mandarin language learning materials relevant to CCECA programs and services.
o Design and deliver training modules covering:
- Professional Reception and Organizational Introduction
- Assistance Processing and Operational Workflow
- Professional Refusal and Boundary Management
- Conduct language proficiency assessments and pronunciation diagnostics.
- Provide individual coaching and feedback sessions to staff participants
- Develop digital learning resources and training scripts for future staff onboarding.
- Monitor participant progress and provide a final evaluation report.
Deliverables
The contractor will be responsible for delivering:
- Three customized Mandarin language online training modules
- CCECA-specific learning materials and service scripts
- Language assessment and coaching services
- Progress tracking and final project reporting
