Summary
We are seeking a part-time friendly, organized and reliable receptionist to join our busy medical office. This role is responsible for providing excellent patient service while supporting the day-to-day administrative tasks of the office.
Key Responsibilities:
- Greet and check in patients upon arrival
- Explain and collect patient paperwork, questionnaires and forms
- Assist patients with general clinic questions
- Answer phones and complete appointment reminders
- Scan and fax documents
- Prepare paperwork for upcoming appointments
- Stock exam rooms, procedure rooms, and supply cupboards, and assist with overall clinic inventory
- Support with reviewing provider schedules for accuracy and missing information
- Take basic vital signs
- Support the clinic in maintaining a clean, organized environment
- Assist with special projects as required
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to clinic privacy policies and procedures
Qualifications:
- Completion of grade 12. Additional training or schooling considered an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Comfortable working directly with the public, both in person and over the phone
- High level of computer skills and comfort learning new technology
- Administrative experience considered an asset
- Medical office or healthcare experience considered an asset
- Must pass a criminal record check
Schedule:
This is a part-time position that will work up to 20 hours per week. Shifts will most likely be 10am-3pm, 3 to 4 days a week. This position is a 90 day contract with possibility of extension.

Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
