Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Lawn Mowing Technician to maintain and enhance the appearance of residential and commercial landscapes. This role involves operating various landscaping equipment to ensure lawns are well-manicured, healthy, and visually appealing. The ideal candidate will have a passion for outdoor work, attention to detail, and a strong work ethic. Prior experience in landscape maintenance or horticulture is a plus, but training will be provided for the right candidate.
Duties
- Mow lawns using hand tools, power tools, and riding mowers to achieve a clean, even cut.
- Perform gardening tasks including planting, weeding, pruning, and fertilizing to promote healthy growth.
- Conduct landscape maintenance activities such as edging, trimming, and debris removal.
- Use mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot minor equipment issues and perform basic repairs.
- Maintain the cleanliness and safety of work areas by properly handling tools and disposing of waste materials.
- Support construction-related landscaping projects as needed, including site preparation and material handling.
Experience
- Previous experience in gardening, horticulture, or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated individuals.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, and basic mechanical knowledge is advantageous.
- Experience with irrigation systems or construction-related landscaping tasks is a plus.
- Ability to operate lawn mowers, excavators, and other landscaping equipment safely and effectively.
- Strong physical stamina to perform outdoor work in various weather conditions.
- Knowledge of landscape maintenance best practices is beneficial but not mandatory; willingness to learn on the job is essential.
Pay: From $21.00 per hour
