Haywood is currently recruiting an Investment Advisor Assistant to join its Sales team. To be successful in this role, the successful candidate will be able to demonstrate their commitment to providing exceptional client service, attention to detail and a willingness to take on new responsibilities and challenges as they arise. The Investment Advisor Assistant position is the first and most important stepping stone into the front-end facing venture investing business, helping raise capital for exciting private and public businesses across Canada and globally.
Responsibilities include:
- Greeting clients and handling client calls
- Scheduling meetings and keeping calendar up to date
- Managing client accounts
- Handling all client paperwork and liaising with various departments as needed
- Personal Assistant duties, including but not limited to; banking, handling dry cleaning, picking up lunch
- Other administrative duties as required
Education & Qualifications:
- Office related experience required
- Experience in financial industry an asset
- Dataphile knowledge an asset
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel and Outlook
- CSC completion an asset
- Proficient in data entry with excellent attention to detail required
Skills & Key Attributes:
- Excellent telephone manner
- Pro-active with a great attitude
- Complete tasks with minimal direction/supervision
- Must be able to multi-task and manage multiple deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Willingness to take Investment courses as requested by the Sales Team
- Must be flexible with work schedule, hours may be varied

Job Details
Status: Permanent full-time.
Location: Vancouver, BC – this role is onsite.
Compensation: $42,000.00 – $48,000.00 plus the potential to earn variable commission
Schedule: A start time of 6:15 am PST, in office, Monday to Friday
