Overview
Rooster Building Group Ltd. is seeking an experienced and motivated Site Supervisor to lead our building envelope restoration projects throughout Calgary and surrounding areas.
This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys working alongside their crew while keeping projects organized, productive, and on schedule. The successful candidate will split their time between site work and supervision, coordinating crews, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring projects are completed safely and efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Manage daily site operations from project start through completion.
- Lead crews and coordinate daily work activities to maintain productivity and project schedules.
- Work alongside crew members performing building envelope restoration and carpentry tasks as required.
- Coordinate with Construction manager, Project Managers and Project Coordinators to ensure smooth project execution.
- Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documents.
- Assist with material take-offs and labor planning.
- Maintain high standards for workmanship, safety, and quality control.
- Conduct site safety meetings and ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Communicate professionally with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and other trades.
- Identify and resolve site issues proactively to avoid delays.
Scope of Work May Include
- Window and door installations
- Exterior cladding repairs and replacement
- Building envelope restoration
- Wood framing and structural repairs
- Rot and decay remediation
- Exterior and interior trim installation
- Air and vapor barrier installation
- Sheathing and weather barrier installation
- Caulking and sealant replacement
- Waterproofing and moisture management repairs
- General exterior carpentry work
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years of experience in carpentry, building envelope restoration, exterior construction, or related trades.
- Minimum 2 years of experience leading crews as a Foreman, Lead Hand, or Site Supervisor.
- Strong understanding of building envelope systems and restoration practices.
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Proven ability to organize crews and maintain project schedules.
- Valid driver's license with reliable transportation.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
- Red Seal Carpenter certification is considered an asset.
- Fall Protection, Elevated Work Platform, and First Aid certifications are considered assets.

Pay: $35.00-$43.00 per hour
