Pathways to Healing is a specialized psychotherapy practice focused on depth-oriented treatment for individuals, couples, and families impacted by complex trauma, attachment injuries, and relational distress.
We are currently seeking an experienced nurse practitioner who can provide required letters indicating the diagnosis and prescription for psychotherapy in a consultation-based private practice. This will be a collaboration as you will be paid by Blue cross.
Availability Requirements
This role requires:
- Availability for 1–3 evenings per week
- Weekend availability to accommodate clients
- A commitment of approximately 10–15 client hours per week
- Consistency and reliability in caseload maintenance
Qualifications Required
Required:
- Registered Nurse in the Extended Class Nurse Practitioner (NP).
- Current registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
- Authorized to diagnose and prescribe within the NP scope of practice.
- Professional liability insurance.
- Experience working with refugees, newcomers, trauma, or mental health (preferred).
Preferred:
- Experience completing referrals and documentation for the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) is an asset
- willingness to registration for Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP)
- Knowledge of Medavie Blue Cross IFHP processes.
- Experience collaborating with psychotherapists and multidisciplinary teams.
· Preferred: Experience providing services under the Interim Federal Health Program (IFHP) and familiarity with Medavie Blue Cross processes.
