Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Service Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and hands-on experience in automotive repair and maintenance. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of vehicles and equipment, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The technician will work in a fast-paced environment requiring excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Duties
- Perform diagnostics and repairs on automobiles using hand tools, power tools, and schematics.
- Conduct maintenance services including oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and fluid replacements.
- Operate equipment safely and efficiently during repair or assembly processes.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems within vehicles and industrial machinery.
- Interpret technical manuals and schematics to identify issues accurately.
- Maintain detailed repair records and communicate effectively with customers regarding service needs.
- Ensure all work complies with safety standards and industry regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair is a plus.
- First-year Automotive Service Technician apprentices are preferred. On-the-job training and mentorship will be provided.
- Capable of heavy lifting and performing physically demanding tasks safely.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate technical information clearly.
Pay: $18.00-$30.00 per hour
