We are seeking a skilled and experienced Cabinet Maker / Installer to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building, assembling, finishing, and installing custom cabinetry and millwork for residential and commercial projects. This role requires excellent craftsmanship, attention to detail, and the ability to read and interpret shop drawings.
- Build and assemble custom cabinets, countertops, and millwork.
- Read and interpret shop drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and laminate materials.
- Operate woodworking machinery and hand/power tools safely.
- Install cabinets, vanities, shelving, and other millwork at customer sites.
- Ensure proper alignment, leveling, and secure installation of cabinets.
- Perform adjustments, repairs, and touch-ups as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Follow company safety policies and procedures.
- Communicate professionally with team members and clients during installations.
- Previous experience as a Cabinet Maker and/or Cabinet Installer.
- Ability to read blueprints and shop drawings.
- Proficient in using woodworking machinery and hand tools.
- Experience with laminate, veneer, melamine, plywood, MDF, and hardwood materials.
- Strong measuring, layout, and finishing skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs (23 kg).
- Valid driver's license is an asset (for installation work).
- Steel-toe safety shoes required.
- Must be legally authorized to work in Canada.
