Supervised Instructor Therapist
We are currently hiring one Permanent Full-Time Supervised Instructor Therapist to join our collaborative and client-centred team. In this role, you will implement 1:1 and small group Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) programs under the supervision of a Registered Behaviour Analyst (RBA). Note this role does require transporting clients and therefore a G Class driver's license is required.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group ABA programming in accordance with the client’s service plan
- Collect and maintain accurate data using Portia Pro, our online data collection system
- Implement skill acquisition programs and behaviour support strategies as trained
- Monitor and record client progress consistently and objectively
- Assist with session preparation, including organizing materials and setting up the learning environment
- Provide ongoing support for generalization of skills across settings and people
- Maintain clear and respectful communication with caregivers and team members
- Participate in training sessions, supervision meetings, and team debriefs
- Maintain ethical and professional standards in all client interactions
- Transport clients in company or personal vehicle
Qualifications:
- Diploma or degree in Behavioural Science, Psychology, Early Childhood Education, or a related field (or currently enrolled)
- Experience working with individuals with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred
- Strong communication, organization, and observational skills
- Ability to take direction and respond to feedback from supervisors
- Valid driver’s licence required
- Access to a reliable vehicle
- Appropriate vehicle insurance is required
Position Details:
- Full-time: 35–40 hours per week
- Monday to Friday
- Must have availability between 8:00 AM and 6:00 PM
- Occasional evening availability may also be required
- Work Location: In person
- Must be willing to regularly transport clients in a company and/or personal vehicle
