Job Description
Responsibilities
- Lead and motivate senior team members across both teams.
- Attend pitches to potential new clients, due diligence meetings, board/client meetings as required.
- Build and maintain a strong relationship with clients, vendors and function as the internal touchpoint for the department.
- Continue to support the team ensuring they can conduct the core roles of the team, including the creation and preparation of regulatory/FATCA&CRS workings/reports.
- Continue to develop a greater understanding of the regulatory/FATCA&CRS reporting environment and assist in the creation of service offerings for our clients.
- Trusted with the development of the department and documenting new department processes.
- Develop and improve regulatory/FATCA&CRS reporting processes and procedures.
- As a key senior leader in the Operations department, partnering with colleagues to deliver and create high quality outputs and insights which adds value to the wider business.
- Responsible for ensuring all fees are billed on time and collected in a timely manner.
- Ensure all processes are performed in accordance with operational procedures and controls and all relevant checklists are completed.
- Manage the performance review process of the team.
- Monitor and manage the reporting deadlines for the services/clients that you and your staff are accountable for.
- Co-ordinate department resource planning and staff allocation.
- Play a key role in determining and driving the financial reporting/FATCA&CRS team vision and strategy and implementing the actions necessary to deliver them.
- Engaged to provide analysis of potential new clients/workload/turnover/headcount requirements etc.
- Responsible for vendors and outsourced providers that provide regulatory/FATCA&CRS reporting preparation services to the company.
CF Responsibilities
- CF2 – Ensuring, controlling, or monitoring compliance by a regulated financial service provider with its relevant obligations.
Qualifications

Post-secondary education with a concentration in finance, accounting, mathematics / FATCA&CRS reporting or related fields.

Professional qualification in ACA, ACCA, CPA, CIMA or CFA desirable.
Professional Experience
-
Have 10 years plus experience in a regulatory/FATCA&CRS reporting role.
