Multi-Skilled Renovation Technician / Finishing Carpenter

Sarens Design & Contracting is a growing residential renovation and custom home builder serving Winnipeg and surrounding communities. We are looking for a skilled and motivated individual who takes pride in quality workmanship and can perform a variety of interior finishing and renovation tasks.
This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working on diverse projects and has experience across multiple trades.
Responsibilities
- Drywall installation, repairs, taping, and finishing
- Interior and exterior painting
- Installation of baseboards, casings, doors, and interior trim
- Flooring installation including vinyl plank, laminate, hardwood, and tile
- Carpet installation and repairs (asset)
- Bathroom and kitchen renovations
- Minor framing and carpentry work
- Site preparation, protection, and cleanup
- Material pickups and inventory management
- Working independently or as part of a team to complete projects on schedule
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of residential renovation experience
- Strong drywall finishing and painting skills
- Experience installing tile and flooring products
- Experience with interior finish carpentry and trim work
- Ability to read plans and follow project specifications
- Strong attention to detail and quality workmanship
- Reliable transportation and valid driver's licence
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Positive attitude and strong communication skills
Assets
- Carpet installation experience
- Experience with bathroom and kitchen renovations
- First Aid Certification
- Fall Protection Training
- Experience using Contractor Foreman or other project management software

Compensation
$25.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience and skill level.
