Greenwave Soccer is seeking a dynamic, responsible, mature Soccer Class Facilitator to join our team in Kincardine, ON.
As a Soccer Class Facilitator, you will be responsible for the overall management, organization and leading of soccer classes for our Parent and Tot (1-3 years) and our U5-U7 programming. You will be required to engage and motivate the kids, interact with parents, and lead different activities and games.
Some of the responsibilities include:
- Ensure that all site rules and procedures are followed (such as, but not limited to: tracking attendance, distributing t-shirts, policing areas of gymnasium/school to not be accessed etc)
- Transport, set up and take down of all equipment and activities.
- Lead activities and games that encourage participation and fun.
- Follow game and activity plans that have been provided.
- Communicate with caregivers, when necessary, regarding their child.
Requirements:
Must be 18 years or older
- REALLY outgoing, confident personality with a strong presence.
- Quick thinker, 100% reliable and a good team player.
- Ability to keep small children engaged and participating in activities.
- Understanding of how to connect with young children.
- Have excellent verbal communication skills to engage and lead children during clads.
- Previous camp leader/coaching/childcare experience is considered an asset
- **Soccer experience or background is not necessary
The role is based on soccer seasons:
- Sunday mornings between 9am and 12pm at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Fixed term contract, Seasonal
Contract length: 2 months
Pay: $17.20-$25.99 per hour
