Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Drafter at KLS Engineering Ltd. in Dunnville, ON. The Drafter will be responsible for preparing detailed drawings, technical plans, layouts, and documentation based on specific project requirements. Daily tasks will involve collaborating with engineers, project teams, and clients to create drafts, ensuring accuracy, and revising drawings as necessary. The role also requires maintaining project timelines and adhering to industry standards and guidelines.
Qualifications
- Diploma in Drafting, Engineering/Architectural Technology, or a related field
- Proficiency in AutoCAD required, proficiency in REVIT an asset
- Experience in drafting buildings, including steel detailing an asset
- Ability to interpret technical specifications, engineering drawings, and design concepts
- Strong analytical, visualization, and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in producing technical drawings
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and deadlines
- Experience in the engineering or construction sector is an asset
Pay: Up to $35.00 per hour
