Comprehensive Ophthalmologist
Aqua i Laser Surgical & Clinical Centre is a well-established and rapidly growing ophthalmology surgical centre in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Due to continued expansion and increasing patient demand, we are seeking a Comprehensive Ophthalmologist to join our team.
The successful candidate will have the opportunity to establish and grow a comprehensive ophthalmology practice within a modern, high-volume clinical and surgical environment equipped with advanced diagnostic and surgical technology. The centre maintains strong collaborative relationships with local healthcare providers and academic partners, providing opportunities for both clinical and academic involvement.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
Full licensure, or eligibility for full licensure, with the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Manitoba (CPSM)
Certification by, or eligibility for certification with, the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada in Ophthalmology
Experience in comprehensive ophthalmology and cataract surgery
Excellent clinical and surgical skills with a commitment to high-quality patient care
Ability to work efficiently in a busy and fast-paced environment
Strong communication, teamwork, and professionalism
Research experience, clinical audits, teaching, or peer-reviewed publications are considered assets, as the centre actively collaborates with the University of Manitoba and participates in academic and clinical research initiatives
Practice Opportunity
Comprehensive ophthalmology practice with immediate patient volume
Position available as either a locum or permanent appointment, depending on the candidate’s preferences and mutual agreement
