Location: 508 14th Avenue
Pay Rate: $35.00 per hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM (35 hours per week)
About the Client
Seeking a compassionate, reliable, and experienced caregiver to provide one-on-one support for a 70-year-old individual with special needs resulting from a brain injury. The ideal candidate will be patient, attentive, and comfortable assisting with both personal care and daily living activities.
Responsibilities
- Assist with showers and personal hygiene
- Provide bathroom assistance as needed
- Perform manual transfers from bed to other areas of the home
- Assist with feeding and meal support
- Support mobility using a stationary walker
- Guide and assist with prescribed physical exercises
- Prepare meals and snacks
- Complete laundry duties
- Perform light housekeeping tasks
- Engage the client in cognitive and recreational activities
- Monitor the client's comfort, safety, and well-being throughout the shift
Qualifications
- Previous caregiving, personal support worker, or healthcare aide experience preferred
- Experience supporting individuals with brain injuries, disabilities, or special needs is an asset
- Ability to perform manual transfers safely
- Compassionate, dependable, and patient
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Required Documents (Mandatory for Consideration)

First Aid Training Certificate (must be valid / not expired)
Criminal Record Check (must be issued within the last 3 months)
Government-issued ID (National ID or Passport)
