Our client is seeking an experienced Execution and Integration Coordinator III to lead the safe integration and execution of capital and operational projects across the Athabasca Region. This role is ideal for a collaborative project professional who can bring teams together, manage complex initiatives, and ensure successful project delivery from planning through operational turnover.
What's the Job?
- Lead the planning and execution of capital and maintenance projects, including budgets, schedules, resource planning, stakeholder engagement, permitting, and management of change activities.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, contractors, and vendors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
- Manage procurement activities for materials and services required for project execution.
- Oversee project lifecycle activities, including planning, execution, commissioning, startup, and closeout.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, environmental standards, and health and safety expectations.
- Act as the primary Operations representative throughout the capital project lifecycle.
- Provide operational input into engineering design, equipment selection, constructability reviews, commissioning plans, and operational readiness activities.
- Support governance processes including risk assessments, Process Hazard Analyses (PHAs), design reviews, and management of change.
- Ensure Operations Acceptance Criteria, Pre-Startup Safety Reviews (PSSRs), training requirements, and commissioning activities are completed prior to asset turnover.
- Identify project risks, operational impacts, and mitigation strategies while promoting continuous improvement and long-term asset reliability.
- Coordinate project closeout activities, including documentation, financial reconciliation, lessons learned, and handover to operations teams.
What's Needed?
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively across multiple stakeholder groups.
- Proven organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, engineering, oil and gas construction, or a related field.
- Post-secondary education in Project Management, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline, or an equivalent combination of education and industry experience.
- Experience supporting capital projects, maintenance programs, infrastructure upgrades, or construction activities.
- Strong understanding of project execution principles, contractor management, and operational integration.
- Knowledge of construction standards, specifications, operations, and maintenance practices is considered an asset.
- Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and regulatory compliance.
