Overview
We are looking for a welcoming, organized, and motivated Dental Receptionist / Administrator to join our growing dental practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys creating positive patient experiences and thrives in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
The ideal candidate is professional, detail-oriented, and confident in managing schedules, patient communication, insurance coordination, and front desk operations. Experience in a dental office is required, along with strong communication and multitasking skills.
Responsibilities
- Welcome patients and create a warm, professional first impression
- Schedule and confirm appointments efficiently using dental software such as Abeldent
- Answer phones, respond to patient inquiries, and manage daily communication
- Process insurance claims, payments, and treatment estimates
- Coordinate patient scheduling, recalls, and follow-up appointments
- Support the daily flow of the practice through appointment coordination, patient communication, and digital chart management
- Work collaboratively with the clinical team to ensure a seamless patient experience
- Maintain an organized and professional front desk environment
Qualifications & Skills
- Previous dental reception or dental administration experience required
- Experience with Abeldent is considered an asset
- Strong understanding of dental terminology and insurance processes
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environment
- Positive attitude and strong team-oriented mindset
