George’s Windows & Doors is a locally trusted company proudly serving homeowners for over 30 years. We are currently looking for a full-time Window & Door Service Technician to join our growing team.
This role involves installing, repairing, and maintaining windows and doors in residential properties. This position is ideal for someone who has a strong background in windows and doors, enjoys hands-on work, problem solving, and taking pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Service and repair windows and doors
- Troubleshoot operational issues and hardware problems
- Replace parts and components as needed
- Rescreen window and door screens
- Install and service storm doors
- Perform small adjustments, repairs, and “tinkering” projects
- Use hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain a clean work environment and adhere to safety protocols at all times
- Ensure work is completed professionally and efficiently
- Provide friendly, respectful customer service in clients’ homes
- Work collaboratively with installers and office staff
Qualifications
- Experience servicing windows and doors preferred
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable using hand and power tools
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Valid driver’s license required
- Strong understanding of construction practices related to windows and doors
- Physical ability to lift heavy materials and work in confined or elevated spaces
- Valid or relevant certifications are desirable but not mandatory
