Position: Warehouse Lead Hand / Coordinator (Day Shift)

Starting Pay: $22.00 per hour.
We are currently seeking an experienced Warehouse Lead Hand / Coordinator to join our team at our strategic cross-dock facility. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for coordinating, organizing, and controlling the flow of goods while leading a team in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Our facility operates with multiple bays and a team of approximately 16 employees across three shifts. This position plays a key role in supporting daily operations, communication between shifts, and maintaining efficient warehouse performance.
Shift Details
- Day Shift: 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM (end time may vary based on workload, to be discussed with Manager)
- Schedule: Sunday to Thursday
- Flexibility required during peak periods
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise warehouse staff, assigning duties and ensuring productivity
- Coordinate receiving, storing, cross-docking, and shipping of goods
- Operate forklifts and support loading/unloading of trailers as required
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure inventory efficiency
- Optimize warehouse space, storage costs, and delivery timelines
- Identify and implement continuous process and efficiency improvements
- Enforce all safety procedures and ensure compliance with company policies and provincial regulations
- Communicate clearly with management and other shifts regarding daily activities
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven leadership experience in a warehouse or logistics environment
- Strong knowledge of warehouse operations and cross-dock logistics
- Minimum 2 years forklift experience (certification preferred)
- Hands-on experience with equipment operation and basic maintenance
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to lift and move heavy materials as required
- Commitment to workplace safety and compliance
Preference will be given to candidates with extensive warehouse leadership experience (10+ years).What We Offer
