BOSS Staffing is assisting our clients, in hiring Machine Operators in Etobicoke.
Our client a leading plastics manufacturer located in Etobicoke near Evans and Browns Line is hiring Machine Operators starting immediately.
Rotating Shift:
Week 1 Days 3:00 am to 3:30 PM
Week 2 - 3:30 PM -12:00 AM
CLIENT CURRENTLY WORKING 12 HOUR SHIFTS TEMPORARILY - Monday thorugh Friday 7AM-7PM and 7PM-7AM.
Pay Rate:
Days $21.00 per hour, Afternoons $22.25 per hour, Nights $23.00 per hour
Job Requirements:
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
DRY END PACKAGING DUTIES
· Visually inspects stacks, packages, and labels product.
· Operates the stretch wrapper.
· Operates the perforation roll.
· Operates the MJ saw.
· Operates the bar code printer.
· Operates the various conveyers.
· Transports packaging materials to the required areas.
· Insures smooth transition of product from laminator on through conveyors. This requires conveyor feed (manually) upon startup and clearing of jams as needed.
· Monitors board quality, facing alignment and product dimensions and communicates this information in an appropriate manner.
OTHER DUTIES
· Fabricates and transports packaging materials, such as risers, edge protectors, and dunnage.
· Manufactures product samples.
· Operates mold release spray equipment.
· Performs general housekeeping, to include sweeping, emptying dumpsters, servicing the dust bricker, and picking up grounds.
· Performs off-line assembly/fabrication of specialty products.
· Scrapes and cleans the laminator.
· Keeps required production records.
· Operates saw and glue systems.
· Participates in plant programs, such as safety, training, housekeeping, recycling, etc.
· Performs other related duties consistent with the nature of the job as directed by management.
