Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and organized Store Assistant to join our retail team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, assisting with sales, and ensuring the store operates smoothly.
Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist with their shopping experience
- Handle cashiering duties including POS transactions, cash handling, and processing payments accurately
- Maintain merchandising displays and ensure products are well-organized and appealing
- Manage inventory levels and restock shelves as needed
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming store environment
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently
- Assist in training new team members on store procedures and customer service standards
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred but not required; training will be provided
- Familiarity with merchandising, POS systems, basic math, and cashiering is advantageous
- Strong communication skills, time management, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
