Job Summary: The Service Technician reports to the Service Manager/Supervisor and is to ensure that all parking equipment is maintained within contract guidelines.

Job Responsibilities / Duties:
- Must have experience with electrical and electronic equipment
- Must be able to work flexible hours e.g. 1 week a month on-call
- Maintain the stock level of supplies, e.g. ticket rolls and other consumables;
- Ensure their vehicle is clean and stocked with parts for the next shift;
- Must be able to work outdoors in all weather conditions;
- Ensure accuracy is used when filling out SWO, e.g. correct part number is used;
- Must have strong computer skills, able to learn new access control applications
- Adhere to Uniform Policy;
- Must be able to lift 50 lbs equipment;
- Must be self-motivated, able to work independently as well as in team environment
- Must be able to use power tools
- Preparation of incident and accident reports, as required;
- Provide feedback to the Manager/Supervisor on potential customer situations/problems found on site;
- Provide maintenance on equipment to assure continuity of customer operations and high levels of customer satisfaction;
- Resolve issues to the customer’s satisfaction and/or in compliance with the agreed upon Service Level agreements
- Other duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications:
- Valid full G drivers license with a clean driving abstract - Mandatory
- Great analytical skills with the ability to balance multiple projects in a fast paced environment;
- Excellent problem-solving skills, time-management and training skills;
- Detailed oriented, quick learner and thinker, efficient and possess good attitude, and work ethic;
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work well on their own or as part of a team;
- Good oral and written communication skills;
- Listening skills and the ability to understand and explain procedures in professional manner;
- Flexible, patient, diplomatic, courteous, tactful and with high level of integrity;
- Dependable, hardworking and willing and able to work after normal working hours;
- Must be punctual and self disciplined; Must enjoy the outdoors in all seasons;
- Training will be provided;
- Credit and criminal clearance required (completed by the employer) .
