We are seeking a reliable, organized, and hardworking Lot Attendant to join our dealership team. The Lot Attendant is responsible for maintaining the appearance and organization of the dealership lot, ensuring vehicles are clean, properly displayed, and ready for customers. This position plays an important role in supporting the Sales, Service, and Parts departments while helping deliver an excellent customer experience.
- Maintain the organization, cleanliness, and appearance of the dealership lot and showroom.
- Move and park new, used, and customer vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Ensure vehicles are properly displayed with pricing, window stickers, and promotional materials.
- Perform regular lot inspections and report any vehicle damage or maintenance concerns.
- Keep vehicle inventory organized and accurately positioned according to dealership standards.
- Assist with vehicle deliveries and customer pick-ups.
- Fuel vehicles as required and ensure they are clean and ready for display or delivery.
- Assist with receiving new vehicle shipments and arranging inventory.
- Shuttle vehicles between dealership locations, service departments, and off-site facilities as needed.
- Assist the Sales and Service departments with daily operational needs.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
- Follow all dealership safety policies and procedures.
- High school diploma or equivalent is an asset.
- Previous dealership or automotive experience is preferred but not required.
- Valid G Driver's Licence with a clean driving record.
- Ability to drive both automatic and manual transmission vehicles is an asset.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physically demanding tasks.
