An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced full cycle bookkeeper to join a growing and dynamic team. The successful candidate will bring prior bookkeeping and accounting experience along with the ability to manage financial responsibilities with confidence and precision.
Job description:
Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of the company's financial records and transactions
- Perform account reconciliation and analysis to ensure accuracy
- Process payroll and maintain employee records, government remitting
- Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets and income statements
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting activities
- Handle accounts receivable and accounts payable functions
- Conduct bank and credit card reconciliations to ensure accurate cash balances
- Utilize accounting software, such as Quick books, to record and track financial data
- review and respond to questions and inquiries from Accountant at Year End.
- HST/GST PST remittance
Requirements:
- Proven experience as a Financial Bookkeeper or in a similar role
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and practices
- Proficiency in using accounting software and MS Office applications
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and analysis
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Payroll experience required
