We are seeking a professional, caring, and organized person to join our dedicated team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for helping others and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service to families, visitors, and callers. Key Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome visitors in a professional and friendly manner
- Answer incoming telephone calls, take messages, and direct inquiries appropriately.
- Schedule appointments and maintain calendars
-Assist with filing, scanning, and organizing documents
-Perform accurate data entry and maintain confidential records
- Manage incoming and outgoing mail, courier deliveries, and packages
- Provide administrative support to funeral directors and other team members as required
- Maintain a clean, organized, and professional reception area
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a reception, customer service, or administrative support role is preferred
- Demonstrated commitment to delivering exceptional customer service
- Familiarity with phone systems and office equipment
- Strong computer skills, including experience with data entry and office software
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Proficient in computerized systems, including data entry
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Professional appearance, discretion, empathy, and a compassionate approach when interacting with families and visitors
- Ability to move throughout the building regularly, including the use of stairs
