Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our dynamic culinary team. Duties
- Prepare ingredients and assist in meal preparation according to recipes and quality standards
- Cook menu items efficiently while maintaining consistency and presentation standards
- Handle food safely and hygienically, adhering to all food safety regulations
- Assist with plating dishes for service, ensuring timely delivery to guests
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, including washing, sanitizing, and storing utensils and equipment
- Support the team during busy hours by serving guests and managing food orders as needed
- Follow all restaurant policies regarding food handling, safety, and sanitation protocols
Experience
- Prior experience in food service, restaurant kitchens, or food industry roles is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with serving, food preparation, cooking techniques, and meal assembly is advantageous
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety standards is highly desirable
- Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a focus on quality and efficiency is a plus
- Previous kitchen experience or culinary training will be considered an asset
