Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly, take accurate orders, and serve food and beverages efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS.
- Prepare and serve a variety of drinks responsibly, ensuring adherence to all food safety and alcohol service regulations.
- Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with precision, including processing payments and giving correct change.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, tables, and service stations in compliance with food safety standards.
- Monitor guest satisfaction throughout their visit, address any concerns promptly, and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and proper food handling procedures.
- Demonstrate strong time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar patrons efficiently during busy periods.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or food industry experience is preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles.
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is highly advantageous.
- Proven ability to manage cash handling accurately and perform basic math calculations swiftly.
- Knowledge of food safety standards, proper food handling procedures, and responsible alcohol service is essential.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that fosters a welcoming environment.
- Experience in hospitality settings that require multitasking, quick thinking, and effective time management.
