We are currently seeking a LICENSED AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN to join our busy, well established and evolving facility with the latest technology with a FLAT RATE pay structure. Starting at $25-40/hr based on experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES Perform all vehicle warranty and non-warranty inspection, diagnostic, maintenance and repair work efficiently and competently to dealership and manufacturer standards. Examine and test drive vehicles to determine what repairs are required as indicated on work order. Relay information to the Service Advisor if additional service work is required as a result of inspection or road test and not indicated on work order. Communicate with the parts department to obtain needed parts. Maintain timely, accurate records of work performed per repair. Participate in paid General Motors training programs both in-house and external and keep current of all factory technical bulletins. Maintain work and shop area in a neat and clean manner and account for any/all Company-owned tools and equipment at all times. Ensure customer vehicles are kept clean. Wear and maintain any personal protective equipment required and follow all health & safety procedures.
REQUIREMENTS Strong mechanical/technical automotive ability. Initiative to better yourself, our team and the overall customer experience. Excellent time management & organizational skills with keen attention to detail. Understand safe working and driving practices. Ability to work well with a team. Previous experience in a General Motors dealership is an asset, but not required.
LICENSE Drivers License (Required) Ontario Motor Vehicle Repair License 310s (Preferred)
