We are looking for a motivated and reliable
Golf Shop Attendants
for the 2026 golf season
Under the direction of the Golf Shop Manager set forth by the Director of Operations, the Golf Shop employees will work the check in counter while managing the tee sheet and participating in tournament and event execution. Golf Shop employees provide first impressions to a golfer and must offer exceptional customer service while being able to receive payments and accept tee times.
Responsibilities:
- Provide exceptional customer service to guest inquiries, concerns and complaints.
- Cash handling, proper change and maintaining a proper float are essential.
- Counting an accurate float at the end of every shift.
- Use computer and written tee reservation system.
- Selling green fees, pro shop merchandise and carts.
- Demonstrated oral and written communications skills.
- Knowledge of golf an asset but not required.
- Ensure all Ingersoll Golf Club policies and procedures are adhered to.
- Flexibility to work a variety of hours.
- Telephone capabilities are a must.
- Work with other staff as a team
- Work diligently to achieve outstanding service quality
- Event setup: May include moving tables and chairs
- This is a position that requires the Pro Golf Shop Attendants to actively participate in back shop duties, and course marshalling duties. This means washing golf carts, picking the range, and general upkeep of property and grounds as deemed necessary by supervisors
- Perform other tasks as assigned by the Director of Operations
Qualifications:
- High level of comfort dealing with the public in a fast paced environment.
- Cash handling and balancing experience.
- Computer skills, and willingness to be trained to use POS
- Smart Serve Certificate is an asset
- Any business or golf related education/experience is an asset.
We offer competitive hourly compensation based on skills and qualifications, as well as golf playing privileges, merchandise discounts and staff meal discounts.
No public transportation is available - must have reliable transportation. Applicant will be required to work evenings and weekends. Weekly hours will fluctuate based on the seasonality of the position. Duration and hours may vary depending on length of season and daily weather conditions.
