Midnight Cookie is Toronto's original late night made to order cookie shop! Our shop serves warm cookies, cold ice cream and ice cream sandwiches! We are Looking for a team member that could join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in food preparation and a love for creating delicious baked goods. We are looking for part time and full time bakers to join our team.
Duties
- Interacting with customers, taking orders and being an ambassador for the midnight cookie brand
- Follow recipes accurately to ensure consistency in taste and presentation.
- Package finished products for sale while maintaining quality standards.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the kitchen area to comply with food safety regulations.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely production and delivery of cookies
Requirements
- Proven experience in food preparation within a restaurant or bakery setting.
- Food Handler's Certificate
- Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment and managing multiple orders.
- Excellent attention to detail and creativity in baking presentations.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including early mornings or weekends as needed. Working evenings and nights is a requirement. (2 AM weekdays and 3 AM weekends)
