Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Hot Shot Driver to join our logistics team. This role involves quick, on-demand deliveries of time-sensitive freight across various locations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial driving, excellent communication skills, and the ability to handle heavy loads safely. This position offers an opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction and timely deliveries.
Duties
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver urgent freight to clients and distribution centers.
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment such as forklifts when necessary.
- Ensure all shipments are secured properly for transit and adhere to safety regulations.
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and communicate effectively with dispatch and clients.
- Assist with warehouse operations including moving inventory and organizing shipments as needed.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and compliance.
- Provide excellent customer service by representing the company professionally during deliveries.
Skills
- Proven experience in commercial driving, preferably as a Hot Shot or similar role.
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and operate forklifts or warehouse equipment safely.
- Strong communication skills for coordinating with dispatch, clients, and team members.
- Experience with warehouse operations, including moving inventory efficiently.
- Excellent driving record with valid commercial driver’s license (CDL preferred).
- Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
- Knowledge of safety procedures related to moving freight and operating heavy equipment.

Pay: $250.00-$400.00 per day
