We are innovative, creative, collaborative, and our goal is to foster a safe environment for students to learn and discover their passion. Shifts may include outside delivery of programs. Must be available to work shifts 4:00pm to 9:00pm monday to friday and 10:00 am to 4:00pm Saturdays. Curently this part-time job consists of 8 hours of work during the week; increasing after the summer.

The ideal candidate for this position is fun, energetic, and engaging. Candidates must have a proven teaching record in art and be able to effectively work with children ages five to adult. The Art Teacher will be responsible for selecting appropriate materials with different skill levels and create a motivating class environment. The successful candidate will have experience teaching children, a track record of high student achievement, and reliable transportation.
Responsibilities:
- Teacher according to Synergy standards
- Able to teach different art mediums
- Create lesson plans tailored to each student's learning style
- Plan activities to build students' interest in art
- Encourage students to develop and be creative
- Give feedback during lessons and communicate effectively both with parent and student
Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $18.00-$24.00 per hour
