Front desk knowledge and Treatment coordination are an asset.
General responsibilities include
- Chairside assisting
- taking X-rays
- Sterilizing instruments
- some front desk duties
- general clean up.
Experience with Dentrix dental software , as well as familiarity with orthodontics and pediatrics, is highly desirable. The Dental Assistant will play a vital role in delivering high-quality dental care while fostering a welcoming atmosphere for patients of all ages.
Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with infection control protocol
- Provide post-treatment instructions to patients and answer their questions
- Schedule appointments and coordinate patient flow as a dental receptionist when needed
- Ensure patient comfort throughout their visit by providing excellent customer service
- Maintain cleanliness of the clinical area and ensure all equipment is properly maintained
- Assist with administrative tasks related to medical terminology documentation and insurance processing
Skills
- Strong understanding of medical terminology relevant to dental care
- Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with patients and team members
- Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Prior experience as a dental receptionist or in medical office administration is advantageous
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
