Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Auto Body Repair Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in automotive repair, including bodywork and collision repair, with a strong focus on quality craftsmanship and customer satisfaction. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and restoring vehicles to their original condition using various tools and techniques. A background in dealership environments or mechanic experience is highly valued. The Auto Body Repair Technician will play a vital role in maintaining the reputation of our service center by delivering exceptional repair work efficiently and safely.
Responsibilities
- Perform body repairs, including dent removal, panel replacement, and refinishing
- Use hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment to execute repairs accurately
- Align and calibrate vehicle frames and structures as needed
- Conduct quality inspections to ensure repairs meet safety standards and customer expectations
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of repairs
- Follow all safety protocols and industry regulations during repair processes
Requirements
- Proven experience in automotive body repair or collision repair, preferably within a dealership setting
- Mechanical knowledge related to vehicle systems and structures
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and heavy lifting equipment
- Ability to perform automotive repair tasks with precision and attention to detail
- Strong understanding of vehicle anatomy and repair techniques
- Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
- Physical ability to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor for extended periods
- Prior mechanic experience is a plus but not mandatory
- Commitment to safety standards and quality workmanship
Pay: $20.00-$35.00 per hour
